Fenix Grind
PREMIUM FINISH
Fenix Grind can be tailored to either a full polish or a grind and seal finish, depending on the customer's preference. This process utilises flexible resin pads, which, unlike traditional steel shoes, adapt to the height variations (bumps) in the slab, removing minimal material and exposing only a small amount of sand.
The primary purpose of Fenix Grind is to eliminate the white surface layer, as well as any trowel marks or imperfections in the concrete. During the initial pour, the concrete is typically burnished using a power trowel. The Fenix grinding process is then applied to achieve an exceptionally smooth surface with a rich, varied color that surpasses the appearance of burnishing alone.
